A born and raised Finnish city girl, secretary/translator turned into herbalist/farmer
After decades working in the corporate world, we were looking for a new way of life. When opportunity allowed, we moved to an overgrown, abandoned farm nestled in the mountains of northern New Hampshire. With a lot of work and passion we opened Ashmede Farm. Our primary focus was supplying healthful grass-fed meats and herbs to our local community. With time, our focus shifted to horses and their relationship with people. After a lot of research, relationship training, where the horses have the choice to say "no" checked all the boxes for what we envisioned. We found that Horse Spirit Connections in Canada was offering certifications in their FEEL (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning) program. Glenn enrolled and graduated from the course and is continuing his education with the Advanced (FEEL) Course. Anne has refined her herbal passions with a multitude of continued education and offers herbal activity classes on and off the farm.
